Enterface is a local-first macOS workspace that keeps the moving parts of a project—services, project items, connections, decisions, activity, and AI-assisted work—in one operating picture.
Does Enterface replace GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, ChatGPT, or my terminal?+
No. Those tools remain where the work happens. Enterface gives you a coherent project layer around them, so you can understand what is connected and what to do next.
What is the difference between a service and a project item?+
A service is a place you use, such as GitHub or Vercel. A project item is something your project relies on, such as a repository, domain, deployment, database, or email sender. You do not need to memorize the distinction: the “Add to project” flow asks the plain-language question for you.
Can I use Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenCode with Enterface?+
Yes. Enterface can launch locally installed coding tools in the active project and save a deliberately limited local project map. The agent keeps its own account, conversation, approvals, and capabilities.
Will Enterface save my passwords, tokens, terminal history, or private AI chats?+
No. Enterface is designed to avoid recording raw secrets, arbitrary terminal arguments, browser history, and private chat transcripts as project context.
Can I start a new project without connecting everything first?+
Yes. Start building with your preferred agent or terminal. Add services and project items only when they become relevant. Enterface is meant to meet a project where it is.
Can I bring an existing production product into Enterface?+
Yes. Start with the services and project items you know, then map the most important connections and review discoveries. There is no required order.
Is Enterface ready to download?+
Not yet. Enterface is still being prepared for public macOS release. Join the notification list and we will email you when it is ready.
